Trekking Tours
Trekking is one of the easiest sports or adventure tourism activities to practice and therefore one of the most widespread. It consists of making walks in different levels of difficulty for places that have great natural beauty, historical or archaeological importance or simply a good terrain for walking.
To practice trekking in Peru is to move through beautiful Andean landscapes with fantastic views of snow-capped mountains and lagoons. It is to cross the Qhapaq Ñan, the network of roads that united the Inca Empire; to know the culture of the communities; to cross the Cordilleras Blanca and Huayhuash in Áncash or to find more than one route towards Machu Picchu in Cusco.
Practically the entire mountain range, including valleys, plateaus and mountain ranges, hosts trekking circuits with greater or lesser degree of difficulty.
